The fourth day of the "Week Korean of Studies" was dedicated to national cuisine! At the event, which is supported by the Educational Center of the Republic of Korea in Almaty, Mrs. Kim Yong Mi, who came by special invitation, taught our students how to cook Korean national cuisine. Korean studies students who tried Korean national cuisine not only in special kitchens, this time made Kimbap and Taokbokki themselves. Of course, the ingredients added to these dishes are not at all similar to our national dishes. However, it allowed the culture of the two countries to be compared through cuisine. On the eve of the national holiday of the Kazakh people Nauryz, we express special gratitude to Mrs. Kim Yong Mi, who visited our department and told students about the similarities and common features of the culture and traditions of the Korean and Kazakh peoples, and also gave students invaluable experience. At this event, teachers and students of the department were able to show their unity, working hand in hand.
