REGISTRATION FOR COMPREHENSIVE TESTING FOR ADMISSION TO MASTER'S STUDIES STARTED

Applicants will be able to make changes to the application for the group of educational programs, language and place of testing before the deadline for accepting applications. Information about the date of the test will be available in the applicant's personal account. The complex testing itself will begin on July 20 and will last until August 10.
“Comprehensive testing is carried out in electronic format and consists of three blocks: a test in a foreign language, a test to determine readiness for learning and a test according to the profile of a group of educational programs. This takes a total of 4 hours. Applicants who have one of the international certificates confirming foreign language proficiency are exempted from taking a foreign language test, ”explained Ruslan Emelbaev, director of the National Testing Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
For applicants, instructions have been introduced to determine the compliance of areas of education for admission to the magistracy. This is necessary to maintain continuity, continuity of educational programs and improve the quality of undergraduate training. Therefore, before submitting documents for a particular educational program, applicants need to consult with the admission committee of the university on the format of comprehensive testing and the compliance of the chosen educational program with the specialty that was received by the applicant in the bachelor's degree. Advice can also be obtained from the virtual admission committee of the university.
This year, the passing score for admission to the scientific and pedagogical master's program is 75 points, for admission to the specialized master's program - 50 points. In case of disagreement with the results of comprehensive testing, applicants after completing the test can file an online appeal.
It should be noted that the state educational order for master's studies for the 2022-2023 academic year is over 13 thousand grants.
