I am Hamida Mohammadi from Afghanistan and right now I am studying the third semester of the Master's degree program of the Faculty of Information Technology and the Department of Information System.
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is one of the largest universities in Kazakhstan and the best university in Central Asia and has a special place in science and higher education. The university also has all the conditions for students. They have the opportunity to play sports, relax, develop spiritually and creatively, and most importantly, receive an education in accordance with modern requirements.To be honest, I am very grateful for the Kazakh government and especially from the Bologna Process for giving us the opportunity to study at KAZNU.I am proud to study at the best university in Kazakhstan. I sincerely wish the entire teaching staff great professional achievements, the implementation of creative ideas! Students of our faculty of success in their studies and firmness in achieving this goal! And the University itself will continue to develop successfully!

For students of the group IS-17-6, an advisory hour was held with the aim of promoting self-awareness, broadening the horizons in the world of the profession and forming a great responsibility to society. We discussed with the students the right choice of profession and the development of the modern domestic IT industry. Information about the specialties in demand and necessary for the society in the IT labor market, as well as the knowledge and skills necessary for these specialties were announced. The advisory hour was conducted under the guidance of Maksutova Shynar Userovna and master student of the specialty IS Karipbaeva Nazerke.

On 03/01/2020, an open curatorial hour was held on the theme “Аяулы әже, ардақты ана, ару қыз”, dedicated to International Women's Day on March 8. The event was organized by the IS-20-1 group of the specialty "Information Systems" and the group monitor Gulnur Aksholak. The open curatorial hour began with a congratulatory speech by the group monitor of the group G. Aksholak, after the students read their poems and congratulated the teachers of the department and the girls of the group. At the end of the event, student Ginayat Nursat performed the kyui of the composer Kurmangazy "Balbyrauyn".

The curator of the IS-18 group (Russian) on spending of an advisory hour on the topic “Cyberbullying and crimes in the field of information technology”. A psychologist and a lawyer from the Public Fund "Law" were invited. The students were presented with meaningful information about crimes in social networks as well as legal violations in the field of cyber crime.
