Within the framework of the Green Campus program, 1st year doctoral students of KazNU held an open educational hour for students of the specialty "Hydrology" in order to assess the current state, rational use and protection of water resources.
On March 23, 2021, 3rd year students and advisers of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, majoring in "Meteorology" on the occasion of World Meteorology Day on the platform ZOOM "World Meteorological Day - Ocean, our climate and weather" organized hours.
Within the framework of the Green Campus program, with the aim of encouraging sensitivity towards nature and environment and the prevention of destructive behavior in nature, an online meeting with Magzhan Sagimbayev, a famous Kazakhstani traveler, was organized for students of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th years of the specialty Meteorology (Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. During the meeting, Magzhan spoke about his world cycling trip, the attitude of people to nature, and environmental volunteering in Kazakhstan. Also during the meeting, environmental projects and the reason for the low environmental culture in the country were discussed. At the end of the lecture, a cloud of words that expresses student’s attitude to the lesson’s topic was built.
On March 15, 2021, at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, an advanced training course for journalists "Ecological journalism within the framework of Sustainable Development Goals" was launched as part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, concluded in 2020.
The moderators of the training course were: Head of the Department of Printing and Electronic Media of the Faculty of Journalism, Professor Gulmira Sultanbaeva and Head of the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Development of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences, Acting Professor Bazarbayeva Tursynkul.
On March 5, 2021, 4th year students and advisers of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology organized an open advisory hour on the ZOOM platform "Mother - a flower, a girl - a ray of life!" In honor of the first spring holiday - International Women's Day. The main purpose of the advisory hour is to educate young people to kindness, to appreciate the invaluable work of mothers, to love their country by loving their mothers.

On February 28, activists of the youth organization together with the Nevada-Semey International Anti-Nuclear Movement celebrated the date of the creation of the Nevada-Semey International Anti-Nuclear Movement by organizing an online round table on the topic “Tasks of the Nevada-Semey Movement related to the cardinal need to restore the ecology of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.

For the first time the traditional seminar of the "School of Curators-Advisers", organized by the Department of Educational Work at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, was held in a special format-online via zoom.
