Journal was founded in 1992 (Registration Certificate No. 766, re-registered by the Ministry of Culture, Information and Public Accord of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 25.11.99, Registration Certificate No. 956-F). It is included in the list of scientific publications, recommended by the Committee for Control of Education and Science of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It was published by the publishing house of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University since 1999.

Since 2017, the magazine has been published 4 times a year and is distributed in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the CIS countries.

Articles are published in Kazakh, Russian and English.
