September 26, 2024 at the department of general and applied psychology of the faculty of philosophy and political science Al-Farabi KazNU in the framework of implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals of Kazakhstan (SDG 4 – Quality education, SDG 17 - Partnership for sustainable development) held a scientific and methodological seminar on: «Methodological foundations of cyber technologies, models of the Lambert-Obozov-Beloly cybernometer in socio-psychological studies and interaction practice» for undergraduates, doctoral students, teachers of the department and faculty. 

On September 12, 2024, a meeting was held between the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Bekzhan Berikbaevich Meirbayev, and his fellow scientists, the married couple Vasily Savvovich and Nadezhda Aleksandrovna Belolу from Helsinki, Finland. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, B.B. Meirbayev, the Head of the Department of General and Applied Psychology, A.K. Mynbaeva, and the Professor of the Department of General and Applied Psychology, M.P. Kabakova.

On April 29, 2024, the International Scientific and Practical Conference was held - Dzhakupov Readings “Development of Domestic and World Psychology: Practice, Trends and Prospects”, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the memory of Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Satybaldy Mukataevich Dzhakupov.

On April 4, 2024, the International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists “FARABI ALEMI” was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Within the framework of the conference, the next methodological seminar for doctoral students of the Department of General and Applied Psychology of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science was held.

On March 29, 2024, the International Round Table “HUMAN WORLD IN THE FOCUS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL THEORIES AND PRACTICES” was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the 60th anniversary of the acting. Professor of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University N.S. Zhubanazarova.

Within the framework of the project of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Formation of professional self-determination of students with special educational needs as a national strategy in the field of inclusive education in the Republic of Kazakhstan", on March 15, 2024, the Training program "Professional and personal self-determination: the path to self" was launched.

March 14, 2024 at the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science by the Department of General and Applied Psychology of Farabi KazNU, within the framework of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals of Kazakhstan (SDG 3 - Good health and well-being, SDG 17 - Partnership for sustainable development) and university teaching practice, a meeting was organized and held with veterans and participants of the International anti-nuclear movement "Nevada-Semipalatinsk", in accordance with the celebration of the 90th anniversary of Farabi KazNU and the 35th anniversary of the Nevada-Semipalatinsk IAM.
