Congratulations! In accordance with the order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 25, 2020 №542 "On awarding personal prizes and State Scientific scholarships" in the field of Science in 2020, the head of the Department of history of Kazakhstan, Faculty of history, archeology and Ethnology, doctor of historical sciences, professor, academician B. B. Karibayev became the winner of the state scientific scholarship.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the public fund "TILEU-QABAQ" on December 3, 2020 organized an online republican scientific and practical conference: "Er Edigenin Altyn Orda traihyndagy orny", timed to coincide with the 750th anniversary of the formation of the Golden Horde. On behalf of the public fund, a letter of gratitude was presented to the head of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor B.B. Karibaev with the presentation of the medal "Er Edige".

On December 3, 2020, the al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the "TILEU-QABAQ" public Foundation organized an online Republican scientific and practical conference: "the Place of Er Edige in the history of the Golden Horde", dedicated to the 750th anniversary of the formation of the Golden Horde.

The conference reviewed the historical role of er Edige, as well as the activities and contributions of other personalities in the history of the Golden Horde, and discussed modern conceptual approaches to the study of this problem.

The conference focuses on various aspects of political life in the Golden Horde, the activities of individuals and their role in the history of the formation of the Kazakh state on the basis of an interdisciplinary synthesis. New conclusions and scientific discoveries made on the basis of archaeological research related to the study of political, cultural and social history on the Eurasian continent were also analyzed.

December 3-5, 2020 Candidate of Historical Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of History of Kazakhstan Uderbaeva S.K. took part in the International Scientific Conference "People of the Empire - Empire of People: Personal and Institutional History of the Asian Outskirts of Russia", dedicated to the 65th anniversary of Professor A. V. Remnev (Omsk) and made a presentation on the topic: "Visual biographical documents - photo albums and photography as a source in biographical research ”.

On November 21, 2020, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of History of Kazakhstan Uderbayeva Saule Karibaevna took part in the International Online Conference "The Role and Significance of Museums in the Education of Students: Practical Implementation of the Rukhani Zhangyru Program," initiated by the Scientific Research Center of History and Ethnography of the Kazakh-Russian International University of KRMU in Aktobe, delivering a report: "Formation of a gallery of outstanding figures of the great steppe." Under the leadership of S.K. Uderbayeva the conference was attended by undergraduates Makasheva Dayana (2 course) "Events at the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi under the program" Rukhani Zhangyru" and Dzhienalievа Kamshat "Experience of conducting a quest by students of KazNU al-Farabi in the museum of Almaty ".
