A conference dedicated to the 315th anniversary of the Shapyrashty Nauryzbay batyr took place in the regional historical museum of the city of Kaskelen. The conference was attended by the head of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Karibaev Bereket Bakytzhanovich, who made a presentation on the topic "Kazakh heroes of the 18th century and Shapyrashty Nauryzbay batyr".

On September 8, 2021, In connection with the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan and the aggravation of the situation in the country, a round table on the topic «what is the current situation in Afghanistan?» was held in the building of the French Embassy in Almaty.
