On August 24-29, 2020, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of History of Kazakhstan Uderbaeva S.K. took part online in the international seminar "Central Asia in international relations of the XVIII-XIX centuries." within the framework of the project of the Russian Science Foundation, held at the Presidential Library named after Boris N. Yeltsin in St. Petersburg and made a presentation on the topic: "Features of the imperial policy of Russia in Mangystau (Mangyshlak) - a special region of Central Asia."

On June 29, 2020, the republican newspaper "Kazakhstanskaya Pravda" published an article "Kyr balasy - Son of the Steppes", in which, in cooperation with the famous Kazakhstani journalist Igor Prokhorov, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of History of Kazakhstan Uderbaeva Saule Karibayevna talks about the life and activities of the party leader "Alash" and the chairman of the Alash autonomy Alikhan Bukeikhanov.
