For the competition are accepted: 
1. Prose works (stories). 
2. Poems. 
3.Publicistic and journalistic works (outlines, essays). 
Theme is free. 
One participant may submit to the competition one prose work (point 1 or 3) in a maximum of two pages or a poetic work (point 2) in the amount of three poems (Times New Roman 14 font, spacing between lines - 1.5 intervals, fields 2 * 2 * 2 * 2). 
Works can be written in Kazakh or Russian. 
Materials to the competition must be sent by authors in electronic form at sadenova@mail.ru with the indication of the theme “Literary competition”. 
For Publicistic works, you must attach information about the author, specifying: 
1. Surname, first name, patronymic; 
2. Date and year of birth; 
3. Postal address, phone, email address; 
4. The name of the institution (university, college, school). 
The Organizing Committee and the jury of the competition include leading professors and teachers of high qualification of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. 
The Organizing Committee accepts materials from September 15 to November 1, 2018. 
The winners who won prizes will be awarded a scholarship named after the National Writer of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Nurshaikhov. 
The Organizing Committee established 6 prizes (3 - for works in the Kazakh; 3 - for works in Russian). 
The solemn presentation of the scholarships will take place on November 23, 2018 at 14:00 in the Small Hall of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan (at the address: Abay Avenue 14). 
Winners from other cities can get a scholarship by credit card. 
The best works will be published on the site http://www.nurshaihov.kz.
