"Cheerful Songs" club 

 

The main credo of Cheerful Songs club is acquaintance to the Kazakh and Russian songs by foreign students learning Kazakh and Russian languages at faculty of pre-university education. On the one hand, it will allow foreign students to learn musical melodies of Kazakh composers and get acquainted with poems of poets who wrote words to these songs.

 

1. Goals and objectives of the club

 

Main objective of Cheerful Songs club is informing students of faculty of pre-university education KazNU named after of Al-Farabi about national, retro and modern variety songs of the Kazakh and Russian people and also about song culture. With the help of song art to introduce to musical melodies, songs telling about history, past and present lyrics of the Kazakh steppe.

 

2. Main objectives of club

 

● choice of songs in the Kazakh and Russian languages about which clubmen tell;

● acquaintance of foreign students with the words of the chosen song;

Collection of necessary information on the club’s activities and dissemination of information on the club’s activities;

∙ Preparation of concert rooms for festive and cultural events in the Faculty;

∙ conducting song competitions among foreign students (at faculty level).

 

3. Duties of clubmen

 

∙ Support the club to achieve its goals and objectives;

Implementation of the club plan;

∙ Interaction of club members and compliance with the Code of Ethics;

∙ Active participation in the club is necessary.

 

4. Head of club

 

● Choice of clubmen;

∙ Controls the coherence of the club’s work;

● Announces the schedule, the place, working hours of club, the agenda;

● at the end of each semester reports on work of club.
