On May 11, 2020, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Sh. Taubaevna spoke at an online webinar on the topic “Al-Farabi's Pedagogical Concept” as part of the Second Teacher series of online webinars.

During the webinar, Sharkul Taubaevna focused on pedagogical concepts in the works of the great thinker on the basis of comprehension of the works of Al-Farabi, who became the second teacher in the world. At the beginning, she talked about the pedagogical concept of the thinker with the help of a logical structural diagram, where all the components of this concept were demonstrated. A brief analysis was made of the writings of scientists who investigated the legacy of Al-Farabi as representatives of various sciences.

The pedagogical concept of al-Farabi includes his ideas regarding the methodology of pedagogy, didactics, theories of education, and management from the position of the fundamental principles of the philosophy of science and education. Al-Farabi laid the foundations of modern branches of pedagogy such as axiology, andragogy, innovation. He also illustrated patterns of the logical use of humanistic, systemic, anthropological, value, activity, historical, personal, psychological, sociological, hermeneutical, economic approaches in the study. Thus, he made an invaluable contribution to the development of philosophy and methodology of pedagogy.

Next, Professor Sh.T. Taubaeva described the pedagogical ideas of the Second Teacher on the example of his works on creating a happy society by educating the inhabitants of a virtuous city and graphically explained the path to happiness with the help of logical structural diagrams. I identified the ideas necessary for modern pedagogy, and described them so that it was clear to the listener.

Even during the webinar, Sh. Taubaevna presented the didactics of Al-Farabi. The purpose of the training is the formation of knowledge, intelligence and wisdom in the student through education and training in research, and emphasized that the ultimate goal of training is to bring happiness to people. A formula of happiness for youth “knowledge - brain - mind - happiness” was proposed for reflection.

The second teacher of the world spoke 70 languages, wrote more than 200 works. Always linked the goal of education with universal values. He considered these values ​​a tool for achieving happiness. He never put human values ​​below material ones and did not sacrifice them for glory. He was always firm in his principles, mournful, indifferent to wealth.

It is impossible to say how much content was at the webinar. I cannot hide the fact that the methodological skills of Sh. Taubaevna helped convey al-Farabi's works and ideas to the modern listener in such a new, relevant and understandable way that everyone listened with such enthusiasm and everyone had different thoughts and ideas.

2020 is full of significant holidays. One of them is that this year we celebrate the 1150th anniversary of our ancestor Al-Farabi. Many conferences and meetings are held on the eve of the anniversary. In one of them, Sharkul Taubaevna jokingly said: "Everything claims to have a good knowledge of the heritage of al-Farabi." As a scientist, Sharkul Taubaevna sought to convey the educational ideas of al-Farabi, which had not yet reached the level of world recognition, and now attracted a large number of students and young scientists from different fields of science.

In conclusion, as a student of Sh. Taubaevna and a young teacher, I would like to present my understanding of the encyclopedist Al-Farabi as a teacher.

People differ from other living beings in that they move from the lower need “to eat and drink” to the higher need to “see” and “know”. On the path of development of life, each passes at least one teacher. Great power in the hands of the teacher. The position of a teacher forms a society. Perhaps that is why they say that a person with a good teacher has good principles. The teacher is the creator of the world. The intent of the teacher determines the path of development of society, the nature and purpose of life of people in it. Determines the direction of the next step. And at the same time I want to recall every work of the Second Teacher Al-Farabi is rich in educational content. Only a teacher can be versatile, because he prepares a person for life. And a person is not limited only to material need. Therefore, on the part of teachers, we also want to "argue", and with great confidence call him the GREAT TEACHER.

In conclusion, I would like to thank Sharkul Taubaevna for the motivation and new ideas that she gave us through a webinar dedicated to the Second World Teacher Abu Nasra al-Farabi, who overcame all difficulties and obstacles in life through the pleasure of a constant search.
