Today, May 5, 2020, the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Education and Psychological and Pedagogical Science: Systematic, Continuity, Innovation" was held, dedicated to the 110th anniversary of Academician T. Tazhibayev.

Tolegen Tazhibaev - a great man, academician, scientist who contributed to the development of education and science of our country, founded pedagogy and psychology, ethnopedagogy and ethnopsychology, opened the department of pedagogy at Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, was the rector of the national university.

As a moderator of conference the dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science A.R. Masalamova told about the long career of T. Tazhibaev, the first Kazakhstan doctor of pedagogical sciences, the founder of pedagogy and psychology, and about the rich heritage that he left to people. The international conference was attended by representatives of several universities of the country, student scientists, representatives of the ministry and administration of the al-Frabi Museum. Colleagues and followers of a scientist from neighboring countries. An introductory speech was made by the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of Al-Farabi KazNU. T.S. Ramazanov. Then A.Zh. Toybaev from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan expressed his congratulations. Doctor of Pedagogical Science K.B. Zharykbaev shared with great pleasure about the pedagogical heritage of T. Tazhibaev , and J. Turkpenovich shared his memories about academician.

Among the conference participants was a relative of the academician, Ph.D., professor of KazNPU named after Abay B.D. Sadykov. He said in his speech: “From an early age we grew, imitated and followed the example of our brother’s work. But still, it seems to me that we still cannot be like him. ”Thus, he once again showed the invaluable work of the great academician.

Within the framework of the conference, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia Dr. D.S. Ermakov made a report "The study and development of" flexible "skills as a psychological and pedagogical problem."

Chief Specialist of the Museum of KazNU Al-Farabi A.Zh. Zhabykbaeva told about the exhibition of T. Tazhibayev in the museum, also said that along with the scientist’s work, voice recordings were preserved, which pleased the conference participants.

In addition to the conference, the 80th anniversary of the Department of Pedagogy and Management of Education was celebrated. Conference participants analyzed the work of T. Tazhibaev and paid tribute to the academician. Head of the Department N.S. Algozhaeva was proud of the great work of the scientist and noted the managerial qualities of T. Tazhibaev.
