On December 10, 2020, in honor of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan-December 16, the department of religious studies and cultural studies held a online meeting with students of the 1st Year of the specialty of Islamic studies E. Askenuly on the topic "Independence is the foundation of our country». During the meeting, students were explained about the importance of Independence Day, the feat and trust of their ancestors on the way to independence. Students of the 1st year of the specialty "Islamic studies" R. Aralbay and Zh.Sailau presented presentations dedicated to the Independence day, and Zh.Akhmedov recited poems dedicated to the Independence day by heart. Other students of the 1st year of the specialty of Islamic Studies expressed their views on the high national significance of the Independence day.
