Scientific training of undergraduates of the Department of religious studies and cultural studies of al-Farabi Kazakh national University in the international Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi
From April 27 to May 12 this year, master students majoring in “Cultural studies” and “Religious Studies” from the Department of Religious and Cultural Studies at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University have passed a scientific internship on the topic “Islamic civilization and intercultural dialogue” on the basis of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi in a remote format.
During the internship platform Zoom International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi under the guidance of Professor of the Department of religious studies, candidate of historical sciences Zikiriya Zhandarbek two lectures were held: «Cultural similarities and differences of the functions of religion in society», «The Relations of Islamic culture and civilization with other civilizations», «Islam and tolerance», «Coexistence in multicultural societies». Participants of the seminars were active in discussing the topics discussed, asked questions and shared their opinions.
