On May 19, 2020, the first online defense of the dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) took place at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The dissertation was defended at the dissertation council for the group of specialties “Philosophy”, “Cultural Studies”, “Religious Studies”, “Islamic Studies” Applicant Anar Tanabaeva on the topic "The concept of" perfect man "in medieval Islamic culture." The dissertation was prepared at the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of KazNU. Al-Farabi. The supervisor of studies is the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Masalimova Alia Rmgazyevna. This experience of the Dissertation Council, which was first held in an online format on the Zoom platform, was a success.
