On February 4 of this year, Al-Farabi Kazakh national University held an online round table on the topic: “Abu Nasir al-Farabi and his work”. This event was held under the leadership of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan of Kostanay region. The event was attended by the State University named after A. Baitursynov, Kostanai State Pedagogical University named after O. Sultangazin and a number of other Kostanay universities.

In the event held in the framework of the project “Formation of citizens of a virtuous society” of the Al-Farabi KazNU scientists, orientalists and philosophers have participated. In particular, the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental studies of Ikhtiyar Paltore, Head of the Department of Religious and Cultural studies Kurmanalieva Ainur Derbelinovna, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences: Leskhan Askar, Suleimenov Piirimbek, Begalinova Kalimash, PhD students: Khumarkhan Zhanbolat, Esdaulet Ergeldi, Raisov Kazbek tried to show al-Farabi with different points of view. Along with this, Kostanay colleagues also made their contribution and invaluable contribution to this event.

In the future, such events, as well as familiarization with the works and activities of al-Farabi, are one of the main activities of the University.
