the Harm of non-traditional religious movements

5 Dec 2018 2-year student of the specialty "Religious studies 6M020600" Rysbek T. J. in the framework of pedagogical practice conducted an open educational lesson to students of the 3rd course of specialty of religious studies on "the Harm of non-traditional religious movements".

In the course of the educational lesson the aim was set for students to form an idea of the concept of destructive religious movements, differences from traditional religion. As an open lesson task:

- Clarification of the activities of pseudo-religious movements;

- Consideration of changes in the personality of citizens under the influence of destructive currents;

- Identification of common sides of Islamic pseudo-religious movements.

According to the plan, destructive religious movements, non-traditional organizations and cults were considered.

During the lesson, students were explained about the dangers of destructive religious movements, were asked questions and shown a video to consolidate the data. In addition, students were divided into groups and competed in groups, answering questions. At the end of the lesson, the results were summed up and answers to students ' questions were given.
