Round table dedicated to the "International day of tolerance"
On November 16, 2018, a roundtable dedicated to the "International day of tolerance" was held. The roundtable was held at the international and inter-University levels, the event was attended by Professor of the University of al-Azhar, doctor of teachings Akida (Faith) Abdullah Madih, head of the training Department of the Islamic Institute of advanced training imams at the SAMK Yuldashev T.U., Secretary of the Department of religious studies of the Institute of philosophy, political science and religious studies of the CS MES RK Bektenova M.K., doctor of PhD of the Egyptian University of Islamic culture Nur-Mubarak Duysenbayeva A.K., as well as undergraduates of the Egyptian University of Islamic culture Nur-Mubarak, Deputy Dean for teaching and educational work of the faculty of philosophy and political science of KazNU Al-Farabi Yelbaeva Z.U., head of Department of religious and cultural studies Kurmanalieva A.D., professor Begalinova K.K., Rysbekova Sh.S., Borbasova K.M., students and undergraduates majoring in religious studies and Islamic studies. As the moderator of the roundtable was Professor Baitenova N.Zh. and led a comprehensive discussion of the issue. During the discussion, the issues of an attitude of religions to peace, tolerance, religious tolerance of young people in modern society, Kazakhstan's achievements in compliance with the principle of tolerance, its contribution to the improvement of state-confessional relations and other topical issues were discussed. Participants expressed their views and received answers to their questions. Guests and activists were given books as a gift. At a high level, a roundtable was held aimed at the formation of tolerance among young people and its further strengthening.
