Students visited the central mosque of Almaty
On May 30, 1st-year students of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science visited the Central Mosque of Almaty for cultural and educational purposes as part of an educational practice. In accordance with the program of the training practice, the semiotic meanings of the external and internal binding, architectural structure, acoustics and interior decoration of the mosque were studied. Also, the mosque's naib imam Timur Aliyev gave lectures on religious studies, Muslim ethics and the mores of the mosque.
