Meeting on the topic «Horizons of strengthening the scientific alliance in the development of anthropological cultural tourism»
On May 22, in order to promote the academic partnership of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a meeting was held between the Faculty of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science with researchers of the Silk Road Association at Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) on the topic "Horizons of strengthening the scientific alliance in the development of anthropological cultural tourism". The event was held in the format of a round table.
The round table was attended by Professors of Hong Kong Polytechnic University Justina Jung, Xuan So, Pamela Yu, Linda Lo and Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, PhD, Associate Professor Meirbayev B.B., Deputy Dean for Scientific Innovation and International Relations Alchimbayeva A. B., Head of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Kurmanalieva A.D., Deputy Head of the Department for Scientific, Innovative and International Relations Karybaeva A.N., Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Baitenova N.J., Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Begalinova K.K., Researcher at the Al-Farabi Center, Candidate Baltymova M.R., Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Mukan N., senior lecturer Kuderina A.N., lecturer Kudaibergenov S. In accordance with the program of the event, the Al-Farabi Museum was presented to the guests from China. The meeting was officially opened by the dean of the faculty, B.B. Meirbayev.
During the event, various issues were touched upon: strengthening inter-university ties, implementation of joint educational programs, organization of scientific internships, humanization of the academic mobility program.
During the interview, Professors of Hong Kong Polytechnic University Justine Jung, Xuan So presented several areas of development of anthropological cultural tourism, including issues of strengthening strategic relations between the two educational institutions, and exchanged detailed opinions on a joint regional tour of a cultural and historical nature.
