Open lecture session on "Islamic religion and national traditions"
On April 13, 2023, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Religious and Cultural Studies, Doctor PhD Nursulu Altaeva held an open lecture on the topic “Islam and traditions of the Kazakh people” in the discipline “Religion and Tradition” for 3rd year students of the specialty Religious Studies. Altynbekova Z.D., Senior Lecturer of the Taraz Regional University, attended the open lecture. During the lesson, students were given information about the continuity of the national traditions of the Kazakh people with the Islamic religion and pre-Islamic traditions, and a video material was presented on the topic. To master the topic and fully cover the audience, the Baiterek method was used, and at the end of the lesson, reflection was carried out using the Sinkwine method. The students were divided into two groups and answered questions about national traditions, thus, feedback was established with them.
