Analysis book «Iýdaızm, hrıstıandyq pen ıslamdaǵy 4000 jyldyq іzdenіs: Qudaıtaný baıany»
On April 17, students of the 2nd year of religious studies got acquainted with the book «Iýdaızm, hrıstıandyq pen ıslamdaǵy 4000 jyldyq іzdenіs: Qudaıtaný baıany» by the famous British philosopher and religious scholar Karen Armstrong from the innovative project «100 Kitap». First, Abdilla Medet, a 2nd-year undergraduate at Nur-Mubarak University, presented information about the history of Kazakh writing and spoke about the history and goals of the «100 kitap» book project. Later, under the guidance of Mira Baltymova, Associate Professor of the Department of Religious and Cultural Studies, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Zhandos Kabidenov, a 1st-year master student in the specialty “Islamic Studies”, gave information about the book in a special presentation. The presentation included the author's biography, English, Russian and Kazakh versions of the book, the content of the work, including its conclusions about Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
