The novel "Fathers and Children" is discussed
On March 28, as part of the pedagogical practice for the innovative project «100 books», an educational event was held based on the novel "Fathers and Sons" by Ivan Turgenev with a 1st-year master student of the specialty «Cultural studies».
The main conflict of the novel by I.S. Turgenev's "Fathers and Sons" is a dispute between Pavel Kirsanov and Evgeny Bazarov. It is in their quarrel that the misunderstanding of two generations is manifested. We see how people of different times are completely different from each other. They have different views, ideas, values. The novel not only plays out the eternal conflict of the old and new generations, which look at each other with horror, then with contempt, but other questions are also raised: how to treat the people, work, science, art, what transformations are necessary for the Russian countryside.
Purpose of the project: The issue of "fathers and children" has always been relevant, because both before and now fathers and children had and still have a lot of disagreements. Children always think that they are right, but fathers think that they are right and no one else. But despite the eternal contention, the author teaches us to seek understanding, to show respect, love and care.
