Meeting on the topic «Life hacks of academic mobility»
The Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has launched a series of live broadcasts on Instagram for students, undergraduates and doctoral students in order to expand international relations and increase the volume of academic mobility.
The first broadcast took place on 03.03.2023 on the topic «Life hacks of academic mobility» for undergraduate students. The broadcast was attended by students of the specialty «Сultural studies» Li Alina, Dosymbetova Zhansaya, Yerzhanova Aruzhan, holders of the academic mobility program, who completed an internship at the University of Warsaw (Poland) and Radbaud University (Nideland) in the 1st semester of the 2022-2023 academic year.
In the starting part of the broadcast, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty for Research and Innovation and International Relations, A.Alchimbayeva, familiarized with the general provisions and specific requirements of the academic mobility program. The students were informed about the possibilities of participating in this program, the procedure for processing documents, the choice of a university database and ways to receive invitations.
On 10.03.2023, a meeting was held on the air on the topic «Life hacks of participation in the project «500 scientists» within the framework of the Bolashak program. On the air, doctoral students Kurmanbek A. (specialty Islamic Studies), Userbayev E. (specialty cultural studies), who completed an internship at the University of Hadjettepe in Ankara, Turkey, shared their experience and advised candidates. During the interview, he shared his experience on the issues of IELTS, the TOEFL limit score, the conditions for the selection of scientific organizations and universities engaged in research and practical work, the main directions of the internship program, etc., specified in the rules of participation in the project.
At the end of the broadcast, the fellows of the 500 Scientists project expressed gratitude for the opportunities provided by the Ministry, The University administration, the specialists of the Department of International Relations of the University, The faculty staff who provided special instructional advice.
