On January 13, a regular scientific and methodological seminar of doctoral students of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was held. The seminar was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor B. Meirbayev, Deputy Dean for Research and International Relations A. B. Alchimbayeva, Head of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies, Professor        A. Kurmanalieva, Professors of the Faculty K. Bishmanov, N. Shedenova, Head of the Department, deputies for work and international relations Tekesbaeva A, Abzhapparova A., Mustafina A. S. and doctoral students of the 1,2,3 course of the faculty.

The scientific and methodological seminar was held by the dean of the faculty, B. Meirbayev. The first speaker of the seminar, a 3rd-year doctoral student of the specialty "Islamic Studies", Nurlan Orynbekov, made a substantive report on the topic: "The role of religious education in the prevention of extremism and terrorism: Kazakhstan's experience". He determined the relevance of the topic and shared the results of an experiment conducted in the direction of research. He provided information about published articles on the general topic of the study and provided sample copies.
