Workshop by Visit Professor Mohd Nor Mohd Roslan
On December 2, 2022 Visit Professor and Head of Department of Islamic History and Civilization of the University of Malaya (Malaysia) Mohd Nor Mohd Roslan conducted workshop for teaching staff and doctoral students of Department of Religious and Cultural Studies. Professor Mohd Roslan is the Editor-in-Chief of the Scopus-indexed Journal of Al-Tamaddun (41 percentile Religious Studies) and the editor of Springer Nature's Humanities and Social Sciences Communications (92 percentile General Arts and Humanities).
During the workshop, Professor Mohd Roslan shared his experience of the Journal of Al-Tamaddun, including: submission of a journal for indexing in the Scopus database, journal policy, peer review process, the importance of international collaborations of scientists, as well as interdisciplinary research. Lecturers and doctoral students received answers and advice on publishing articles in international peer-reviewed journals, as well as on internationally relevant research in the field of religious and Islamic studies.
