On November 8, the teacher of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Kudaibergenov Sergazy Yerezhepuly held an open lesson for 2nd-year students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics in the specialty mathematical and computer modeling in the general discipline "Cultural Studies" on the topic "Science and culture of the XX century".
The history of the first universities of the country, on the basis of the pedagogical Institute, the Kazakh State University was opened in Almaty. On January 15, 1934, the university was officially opened. As a result, on January 15, 1934, a resolution was adopted on the teaching staff and on the enrollment of the first 54 students in the physics, mathematics and biology faculties. During the open lesson, students made a report that the university makes a significant contribution to the development of Russian science, technology, culture and higher education.
