Round table dedicated to the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions
On September 21, the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a round table "dedicated to the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions". This round table was attended by the head of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies A.D. Kurmanalieva, professors of the department K. K. Begalinova, K. M. Borbasova, K. M. Bishmanov and senior lecturer Zh. U. Kantarbayeva, T. O. Amankul and 3rd year students of the specialty "Religious Studies".
During the round table, personal opinions of subjective students regarding an important event in our country were heard. At the round table, important issues raised in the congress were discussed, conclusions were drawn that with the preservation of religious and cultural continuity, opportunities for peaceful life open up. At the end of the discussion, it was noted that our country has become a cultural platform for negotiations, where leaders of world religious associations have gathered, and has its place in the cultural arena of the world.
