On November 4, 2022, the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies held workshop ‘Developing Scientific Cases on CIS Contexts and Publication Opportunities’. The speakers of the workshop were: Dean of Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, Associate Professor Bekzhan Meirbayev, Associate Professor of Nazarbayev University Onajomo Akemu, Visiting Faculty KazNU and Associate Professor of SDU University Anjan Ghosh.

Professor Onajomo Akemu shared information on upcoming conference ‘Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology: Challenges, Opportunities and Prospects in the CIS Region’ which will be held on November 11, 2022 at Nazarbayev University. He also delivered about publication opportunities on selected proposals in the special issues of two reputable SCOPUS indexed journals: South Asian Journal of Business and Management Cases and Emerald Emerging Market Case Studies.

During the workshop bachelor, master and PhD students got feedback on their case proposals and Prof. Anjan Ghosh guided students on developing their abstracts for the conference. The audience was extremely delighted and motivated to find Head of Department of Religious and Cultural Studies Professor Ainur Kurmanaliyeva attending the session fully and developing on her own case research plan.
