Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies, under the guidance of doctoral student Sarsengali Botagoz Zhasulankyzy and Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Karlygash  Borbasova, within the framework of the program "Rukhani zhangyru", 2nd year undergraduates of the specialty 7M02205 Islamic Studies on October 22 at 16.00 h. an excursion to the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place.

Director of the Center for Religious Studies Shagyrbay Almasbek Duissenbekovich introduced the main activities of the Center for Religious Studies, noted that the Institute regularly holds international scientific conferences, round tables, seminars, dialogue platforms with the participation of Kazakh and foreign scientists from Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Germany, USA, Turkey, Iran, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and other countries. He spoke about the close relationship with research structures.

The purpose of the event is to familiarize students with the theoretical and methodological foundations of research work, to introduce students to research work.
