International conference “Family values in the culture of the Turkic peoples”
On May 5, 2022 Doctoral students of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Yerzhanov Yerkebulan, Osserbayev Yeldos, Kurmanbek Akaidar and Kanagatov Manat took part in the international conference “Family values in the culture of the Turkic peoples”, organized by the Department of Culture of Ankara.
Professor Ozkul Chobanoglu of Hacettepe University was invited as a lecturer. Doctoral students made a report “Family values in Kazakh culture".
The meeting was attended by scientists from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Cyprus and Hungary. The event ended with a photo session for memory and a visit to the administrative museum, sightseeing of the city.
