December 9, 2014 at 15.00-16.00 the holiday of Turkic writing was held by Department of Turkic and Indology with the participation of students, masters and PhD students at the the Faculty of Oriental Studies. organization of the. Students have demonstrated scenes from the life of the ancient Turks, fragments of the tradition of shamanic ritual, song and dance of the Turks.
Also the festival was attended by students of the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.
The celebration was also attended by famous scientists as, Abduali Kaydar, Omirzak Aitbaev, Jamal Mankeeva and others.
