The International seminar " Historical, linguistic, and cultural issues of the Turks in Eastern Europe "

December 8, 2014 at 11.00-13.00 the seminar was held by Head of the Centre for Central Asia, the Caucasus and the Volga-Urals Institute of Oriental Studies, Professor, Dr. PhD Alikberov Alikber Kalabekovich and Professor, Dr. PhD of Department of Asian Languages and Cultures of the University of Wisconsin Madison, USA Yulai Schamiloglu at the Faculty of Oriental Studies at the organization of the Department of Turkic and Indology. The seminar was attended by the teaching staff of the faculty, PhD students, graduate and undergraduate students.
The main discussed topics of the international seminar were:
* Turks of Eastern Europe;
* The history of the study of writing in Kipchak language;
* Historical, linguistic, and cultural issues of the Turks in Eastern Europe
