On February 1, 2021, KazNU hosted a ceremony of awarding incentive scholarships on behalf of the International Organization "TURKSOY" to students of 2-4 courses of the department of TURKSOY.

The Secretary General of the International Organization "TURKSOY" Duisen Kоrabaiuly Kaseinov, who popularizes the rich heritage of the Turkic world and serves to strengthen cooperation between states, spoke at the award ceremony. He noted that the organization has been a reliable partner of KazNU since 2015. In addition, he stressed that the organization annually awards a scholarship to students, this academic year they allocated 1 million tenge to students of the TURKSOY department.

Today, the Rector of KazNU, Mr. Galym Mutanov, on behalf of the university staff, thanked the international organization TURKSOY for its significant contribution to the rapprochement and preservation of the rich heritage of the Turkic peoples, as well as for the constant communication with the university and the support of students.

On behalf of the fellows, the 4th-year student A. Izimova expressed gratitude to the International Organization "TURKSOY" and promised that in the future they will become good specialists.
