An international online seminar on the study of the Arabic language has started at the faculty of oriental studies

The Department of Middle East and South Asia, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, together with the University of Saudi Arabia Al-Jouf (Al-Jouf University, Saudi Arabia) held the next international seminar on the topic: "Learning Arabic using modern technologies for foreigners."

The international online seminar was conducted by a professor at Al-Juf University, a well-known specialist in languages, Mahmoud Abdul Hafiz Halafalla. The seminar for teachers and doctoral students of the university began with an introduction about the history of the emergence and formation of the Arabic language, its distribution, features and influence on other languages, and also spoke about the role of the modern level of world languages.

During the Online Workshop, Dr. Mahmoud Abdul Hafiz emphasized that the main requirements for a foreign teacher in teaching Arabic for foreigners are: to love the language, to know its understaffing, continuous reading in Arabic, to write in the same language, to think in that language, engage in dialogue with Arabic representatives speaking a local dialect, teach students to think in Arabic, in a word, teach Arabic to Arabic. He dwelt in detail on the need for the use of modern technologies in language teaching, so visual aids, Arabic language textbooks should be kept in electronic form, as well as the requirements of the Arabic teacher to teach at a high level.

Also, Dr. Mahmoud Abdul Hafiz Halafalla explained that in mastering the Arabic language the use of various types of Educational Computer, E-Learning, Mobile Learning gives great results.

The online seminar was attended by the faculty of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia, Egyptian University of Islamic Culture Nur-Mubarak, ENU named after L. N. Gumilyova, Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay and others
