April 9 the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Al-Farabi KazNU hosted the International Scientific Conference "World of Farabi". The conference consisted of 4 sections.

SECTION 1. History, economy and politics of the East.

SECTION 2. Actual problems of Oriental languages ​​and literature of the East.

SECTION 3. Religion, culture, society of Eastern countries.

SECTION 4. Eastern countries in the foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Sectional work was very successful, meaningful. Among the winners, a 3rd year student of the specialty "Area Studies" of the Chinese Studies Department Bolat Sarah took 2nd place in the 1st section of "History, Economics and Politics of the East", a 2nd year student of the specialty "Oriental Studies" Diltan Merey took 2nd place in the 2nd section "Actual problems of Oriental languages ​​and literature of the East", 3rd year student of the Chinese Studies Department of the specialty "Oriental Studies", Angelica Jin, in the 3rd section "Religion, culture, society of Eastern countries" took 2nd place. Also diplomas for participation were awarded to a 2nd year student Nursultanova Laura, a 4th year student Zholdybai Lyazzat, and a 1st year student Sisengali Akmaral.
