On November 23, 2022, the project "Secrets of the Senate" was held, organized by the Maslikhat of Oriental Studies.

On November 7, 2022, a fair was held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, which was organized by students of 2-3 courses, teaming up with newly enrolled first-year students.

On November 22, 2022, a project of the Student Council of the Faculty of Oriental Studies was held to get acquainted with the members of the organization. This project is the first in the history of the organization of the Student Council at our faculty.

On November 21, 2022, at the Department of the Middle East and South Asia of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, a round table was held dedicated to the day of "al-Farabi" "International Day of al-Farabi".

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Heroes of the Soviet Union Manshuk Mametova and the 97th anniversary of the birth of Aliya Moldagulova, a patriotic event was held with the participation of teachers and students of the department Turksoy.

On November 22, 2022, the directors of the Confucius Institute at L. N. Gumilev Eurasian National University in Astana, Mr. Yang Lei and Mrs. Saule Erdenovyna Koshanova, paid a special visit to the Faculty of Oriental Studies. 

An open lesson dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the KazNU University at the Turksoy department.

The invited professor of the Department of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Lee Byоng Jo published an article in the Haninsinmun newspaper related to the admission of new students and their student life in the Department.
