The First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in Kazakhstan, the head of the Department of Culture and Information, Mr. Yuya Kinoshita, specially visited and held a meeting at the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

Akylbay Arystanbek, a 3rd-year doctoral student of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Al-Farabi KazNU, is having an internship at Harvard University in the USA. 

During the event, local students introduced the Kazakh national holiday Nauryz, Chinese students introduced their national Chunjie holiday.  At the end of the event, 1st-year students and 2nd-year Chinese students together performed a special scene and sang a beautiful song in Kazakh and Chinese.

Тhe goal of the challenge is to create a good mood and a festive atmosphere at our faculty.

According to the program, today was dedicated to the Turkish cinema. The Turkish film “Ayla: Daughter of War” (directed by Can Ulkay) is a 2017 South Korean-Turkish drama film directed by Can Ulkay. 

Tonight was dedicated to the adoption of the national anthem of Turkey and the memory of Mehmet Akif Ersoy, as well as March 18 - the day of memory of the victory of Canakkale and the martyrs.
