On October 26, as part of the sustainable development partnership point of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) project, at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, the Department of Middle East and South Asia, Department of Iranian Studies, a meeting was held with a delegation of Iranians who came to the international scientific and practical conference “A Virtuous Person, a Benevolent Society and modern ethics in the legacy of al-Farabi”.

On October 19, within the framework of the paragraph “Partnership in the field of sustainable development” of the project “Sustainable Development Goals” (SDG), the Department of World Literature of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the direct participation of the Department of Iranian Studies of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, organized a literary evening on the occasion of the 975th anniversary of Omar Khayyam. 

Yerkebulanova Aitalyn, in the spring from March 1, 2023 to June 30, 2023, was studying abroad under the academic mobility program in the Republic of Korea, in the city of Seoul. 

 October 25, in honor of the Republic Day, a competition of experts "Menin Elim-Ken baitak zherim" was held with students of the 14th hostel.

Takashi Ninomiya, an associate professor and invited professor at the Department of Far Eastern Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, 

went to Pavlodar City on October 06, 2023 to participate in the regional seminar "Youth of Kazakhstan: state language policy and society."

Аs part of the sustainable development goals, on October 21, 2023, at the Department of Middle East and South Asia of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, the teaching staff of the Indology Department held a meeting with a delegation led by Mr. Anand Prakash, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India, National Coordinator of the SCO. 

On 10.05.2023, an open lesson was held on the topic "Türklerdeki bayram kültürü" on the subject "workshop on intercultural communication" with students of the 2nd year of foreign philology.

A curatorial hour held within the framework of SDG-3 (Sustainable Development Goals-3) with the topic “Compliance with traffic rules” took place on October 05, 2023 and was organized for 1st year students of the department of the Turkic Faculty of Oriental Studies

On October 18, 2023, the Vice-Rector of Daegu University of Oriental Medicine, Mr. Park Jin-soo, visited the Faculty of Oriental Studies. The vice-rector met with the dean of the faculty N.B. Eat, head of the department A.B. Abagan.
