On April 17, 2023, at the Department of Biotechnology, students and undergraduates discussed one of the Sustainable Development Goals - "gender equality". The main goal of gender policy is based on ensuring equal rights and freedoms of women and men guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Achieving the preparation of comprehensive programs on gender equality and empowerment of women in Kazakhstan and the elimination of violence against women. Strengthening and preserving the reproductive health of adolescents and women, men in order to provide equal opportunities for economic independence in general, growth in the development of their business and activities, the introduction of gender knowledge in education, improving the quality of life and ensuring constant population growth, equal exercise of duties and rights in the family without gender-based violence is a task. To solve these issues, on the one hand, it helps to keep the family together and the potential for its development is very high. In this regard, graduate students of the department Baydullayeva Assel, Beisebek Zh., Temirzhanova D., Mazbayeva D., Muratbekova A. were able to share their thoughts, suggestions.
