We came from Tajikistan in the summer of 2018 to study at the al-Farabi Kazakh national University under an educational intergovernmental grant. This is our second year at the faculty of law and we would like to express our gratitude to our teachers and the management of the Department of customs, financial and environmental law. We, as foreigners, are given a lot of attention and assistance in training. We are attracted to social life on an equal basis with other students. We actively participate in the work of the legal clinic, which is run by Zhatkanbaev A. E. and K. N. Aidarkhanova. Even now, we work almost like real lawyers, helping the poor and retired in resolving their legal situations. A legal clinic is an opportunity to test your theoretical knowledge in practice. When considering practical legal situations, we see what gaps in knowledge we have, and this encourages us to study law.
