Dean of law faculty, Doctor of Law, Professor Baideldinov Daulet Laikovich was elected as an academician of the National Academy of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The President of the country Kassym-Jomart Tokayev set the task of giving a new status to the Academy. The National Academy of Science will be organized as a non-profit joint-stock company with 100% state participation in the authorized capital. Science will rise to a new level and the National Academy of Science will contribute to the further development of science in Kazakhstan.

Established on November 30, 2020, the National Academy of Science has great scientific potential. Prominent legal scholars are members of the Academy. Nowadays, there are 33 academicians and 2 corresponding members. The goals of the Academy are to promote the evolution and progress of all branches of legal sciences in Kazakhstan, to implement the most promising research and scientific-technical development, to apply the results of scientific activities in favor of the country, to support scientific innovation, and to consolidate legal scholars of Kazakhstan to ensure the economic, social, legal, and cultural development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Baideldinov D.L. noted that the National Academy of Science, whose founders are students of prominent legal scholars as Zimanov S.Z, Sartaev S.S., Baisalov S.B., Sapargaliev G.S., will continue to develop scientific schools in the spirit and traditions of Kazakhstani legal science. The Academy will contribute to achievement of high scientific results in jurisprudence by combining the creative zealousness of young scientists and the knowledge of older generation scientists.
