For students studying in the branch of the Kazakh National University named after аl-Farabi in Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic), was organized campus-tour.
Within the framework of the visit, students and teachers of the branch in the specialty of Biomedicine visited the University Museum, Biological Museum, research laboratories, winter garden and got acquainted with the аl-Farabi Library. A welcome reception and concert program were organized for the guests. 

On October 16, 2023, Senior lecturer Tormanova A.N. held a presentation of the project of the Department of Biophysics, Biomedicine and Neuroscience on the topic "Antistress-Relax" on the importance of including physical activity on a regular basis.

Stress nowadays affects all spheres of our life and first of all the health of students and teachers. How to cope and recover from stressful loads?

It is proposed to perform a set of physical exercises from yoga and special breathing practices to relax and activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which gives the opportunity to relieve tension in the body and "turn on" the system of rest and reboot after a stressful day.

Practices are recorded on video and posted in the public domain for everyone!

On October 7, 2023, аl-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a mass clean-up day, in which both students and faculty participated. The event was a true celebration of cooperation and solidarity, bringing together all members of the university community.

The morning began with an energetic gathering on the university campus, where the university administration thanked everyone present for their willingness to help create a clean and well-maintained campus.

The Caznoux University cleanup day was a wonderful example of cooperation and unity among all members of the university community. It was a great inspiration for everyone to see the university transformed before their eyes. This event not only improved the university environment, but also strengthened friendships between students and faculty.

The Department of Biophysics, Biomedicine and Neuroscience of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU) successfully held a seminar by Dauren Toleukhanov and Yaroslav Gashchenko, Executive Director of the British company Brain Patch, for students of the specialty of Neuroscience, dedicated to the organization of startups. This event was an important step in the training of future scientists and innovators.

At the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University a seminar on "Application of MRI-biomarkers in the diagnosis of brain tumors" and "Possibilities of electroencephalography (EEG) in neurosurgery" was successfully held. As part of this event, organized especially for students, representatives of the National Center for Neurosurgery acted as guest speakers.

On July 4, 2023, a solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas to graduates was held at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology. This year diplomas in the specialty"6B05108 - Biomedicine" was awarded for the first time to 121 bachelors, "7M05102-Biomedicine" to 9 masters, and in the specialty "7M05113-Neuroscience" to 9 masters, in the specialty "7M01504-Biology" to 40 masters. In total, the Department of Biophysics, Biomedicine and Neuroscience has graduated 179 specialists!We congratulate our graduates! We wish you good luck and success! We hope that you will have only good memories of your years of study at our university.

Articles and/or abstracts on the problems of biophysics, biomedicine, neuroscience and biological education are accepted for publication of the conference proceedings.

To participate in the XV Republican Subject Olympiad in the specialty "6B05102 - Biology", 11 teams applied, all teams were present at the Olympiad.
