A scientific international online conference "Applied Mathematics and Mechanics" was held at the Al-Farabi KazNU, dedicated to the 70th and 45th anniversary of the scientific and pedagogical activity of the famous scientist, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor of the Department of Mechanics of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Aydarkhan Zhusupbekovich Kaltaev.

The international conference was solemnly opened by the first vice-rector of Al-Farabi KazNU, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Mukhambetkali Burkitbayev, who conveyed the welcoming speech of the University Rector G.M. ... The congratulation highlighted the great contribution of Professor A. Zh. Kaltaev to the development of international cooperation in the field of science and education of the university. During the scientific conference-seminar, foreign and domestic scientists spoke on the topic - "Modern problems of applied mathematics and mechanics." So, the reports of the professor of the University of Pittsburgh in the USA Peyman Givi, the professor of the National Institute of Technology of Calicut in India Jayaraj Simon and many other scientists who shared their analyzes of the scientific research of Professor Aydarkhan Kaltaev were heard and discussed. During the online conference, graduates and students of A. Kaltaev also contacted, who thanked and congratulated their mentor on the anniversary.

In turn, foreign guests in their speeches with congratulations noted that Professor Aydarkhan Kaltaev is not only a world famous scientist, but also a good friend. In conclusion, Professor A. Zh. Kaltaev thanked all colleagues and organizers who took part in the international online conference.
