December 5, 2017 the Department of International Relations (DIR) will host  the annual meeting with representatives of Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) led   by Mr. Thomas Helm , Head of the KAS Kazakhstan Office.

Within the framework of the visit, negotiations with the direction of the faculty and heads of scientific centers are planned.

Mr. Thomas Helm will give an open lecture on the topic "From the History of the Intelligence Services of the Federal Republic of Germany and the German Democratic Republic."

During the meeting, the Fund's representatives will talk about the Fund’s activities and present the scholarship program SUR PLACE for the new 2018 year. With this program Konrad Adenauer Foundation supports talented young people, seeking to not only discover their abilities in study, but also willing to devote their knowledge, strength and initiative to participate in political and social life of their country.

Grant SUR PLACE represents monthly gratuitous monetary payments, which are awarded for a period of 5 months.

Following the presentation, Mr. Thomas Helm and the Fund’s representatives will respond to questions.
