International student round table "Actual problems of nuclear safety"
13th March, 2017, International Relations Faculty, the Institute for Security problems and Cooperation at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the College of Science and Art of the University of Tokyo (Japan) held an international student "round table".
Topic of the round table is "Actual problems of nuclear safety"
At the round table presentations were made by students of the University of Tokyo and MA students of International Relations faculty.
Students at the University of Tokyo have shared their impressions after visiting the territory of the former Semipalatinsk test site.
During the discussion, students was adopted the joint declaration, reflecting the desire of the young generation of the 21st century to counteract the problems of nuclear safety.
The closing speech was delivered by the representatives of the Japanese side Dr. Takashi Izutsu, Dr. Terue Okada, teachers of the College of Science and Art of the University of Tokyo.
