Оn the 30-th of January, on the faculty of international relations of al-Farabi Kazakh National University was opened the Romance Studies Center. The Romance center started with the support of the Italian and Spanish Embassies. According to this, we would like to express our gratitude to His Excellency the Ambassador of Italy Stefano Ravagnan and His Excellency the Ambassador of Spain Pedro Jose' Sanz Serrano for their aid in opening and their efforts for future developing.

The students organized a concert; They sang songs, recited poems on Italian and Spanish languages.

More than 1 billion people worldwide speak on Romance languages from Europe to America, from Africa to Asia.

The Roman trend is crucial in the frame of preparing future professionals in the sphere of International Relations. On the Faculty of International Relations the students study Italian, Spanish and French languages with big interest.

This center will be not only a platform for studying and developing of Romance languages and culture, but also a fundament for consolidated scientific projects and the opening of the dual diploma education with the best universities of Spain and Italy.
