PUBLIC PERFORMANCE 

"How I see the world for women?"          

Resource UN Regional Centre at the Faculty of International Relations KazNU and multi-department of "UN Women" in Central Asia (Kazakhstan) invite you to take part in public speaking students, "How I see the world for women?", Which will take place at 10.00 am November 27th, 2015.

Public performances are held in the framework of the campaign "16 days against violence against women" and is carried out on the basis of Kazakh National University, which is a global hub for sustainable development initiatives of the United Nations «Academic Impact».

November 25 - International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, established by the United Nations. Since that day, around the world will start 16 days of active, aimed at attracting attention to the problem of violence against women. The annual campaign runs from 25 November to 10 December.Treasury invite students to express their opinions about how they see the world for women to take part in public speeches on the theme "How I see the world for women?".


What do you need?

1. Register your participation by filling in the questionnaire in Resource UN Regional Centre (Nurdavletova Sania Moryakovna, saniyanm83@mail.ru, 8701 5713838)

2. Prepare a five-minute speech on the topic "How I see the world for women?"

3. Speaking to the jury

Requirements to performances:

• It must be delivered in Russian.

• speech duration should not exceed five minutes.

• It should disclose what the world of the contestants they see women (possible topics: women's rights, the eradication of violence against women, women's participation in political life of society, women and HIV, stigma, women and traditions, gender equality, women and equal opportunities career, etc.).Speeches of the participants will be evaluated on a scale of criteria (content, structure, emotion, and others.)The best performances will be awarded prizes.
