On April 17, 2015 there was held a lecture of the Consul General of Germany in Almaty. Doctor of Political Sciences Renata Astrid Schimkoreit delivered the lecture on the topic: "German diplomacy and its foreign policy in the new international environment."
During the lecture there were discussed prospects for deepening cooperation between the Faculty of International Relations and the Consulate General of Germany in Almaty. In addition, there has been shown the work of the German Research Center (GRC) and DAAD readership in KazNU named after al-Farabi.
